- As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible, among others, for the following tasks:
- Designing and developing structured, readable and testable code
- Testing, monitoring and documenting the developed software
- Collaborating in the team and performing regular code reviews
- Support less senior Engineers and coach them to continuously improve their skillset
Anforderungsprofil
- Must have:
- At least 7 years programming experience
- Degree in computer science or similar (ideally master's degree)
- Multiple years experience as a Backend Developer using the following technologies: Java 11 with Spring-Boot
- Understand what RESTful API’s are and have an opinion about good design
- Experience working with SQL Stores and have done Database Design previously
- Experience developing cloud native applications and know what microservices are
- An understanding of good development practices and a mindset of promote it within the team & the company
- Nice to have:
- Using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform
- Ideally experience with Google Cloud Services
- Experience in the startup environment
- Flexible thinking and can-do, will-do attitude
